What are covering kits?
Our covering kits are complete foil kits that are printed with camouflage, identification, illustrations, squadron insignia and many other elements.
This eliminates the need for time-consuming painting of the model in your desired look. Another advantage is of course the weight saving that is so important for us modellers thanks to the effective printing compared to classic painting or varnishing.
Of course, you can still detail our covering kits with paint or a brush and paint them with standard 1K / 2K paints, e.g. to apply weathering.
In which scales are stringing kits available?
- We can create customised kits for you! - i.e. from 1/6 to 1/1 scale
What do you need to create a customised covering kit?
- First of all, we need exact dimensional drawings of the model to be covered (construction plan)
- We then discuss the design and create it in our graphics department once we have prepared a quotation
- Of course, existing covering kits can also be "scaled" for your model in many cases.
The SCALE rigging kit includes the complete:
Fuselage covering with all markings, serial numbers, beam crosses, control line outlets
2x fuselage side panels, 1x fuselage back, 1x fuselage underside with stitching
Tail covering in lozenge, matching the colour scheme
Wing covering, consisting of upper and lower surfaces, each with all necessary markings and labelling

Material properties: Light / UV resistant, fuel resistant (ASPEN, STORZ, petrol, methanol), ironing resistant, can be painted with clear varnish.
